A study on Exploring the Relationship Between Remote Work, Employee Satisfaction, and Employee Engagement in the IT Sector

This study investigates employee satisfaction concerning remote work and employee engagement in the sector of Bangalore. A cross-sectional survey design was employed, collecting primary data from 345 employees across various sectors such as IT, services, and startups in Bangalore. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire, which included items on satisfaction with remote work, engagement levels, and organizational support. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling to ensure representation from different sectors and job roles. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Findings indicate that a significant proportion of employees reported high satisfaction with remote work, and engagement levels were positively correlated with organizational support and flexible work arrangements. The study highlights the importance of supportive organizational policies in enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement in remote work settings.
