Abstract

Healthcare plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of people across all social strata. In Vietnam, public hospitals are vital institutions under state supervision, responsible for providing medical care and improving the quality of life. Recent reforms in healthcare financing, including policies promoting autonomy and socialization in public hospitals, have significantly improved service quality and operational efficiency. However, challenges such as inefficiencies in financial management and slow adaptation to new mechanisms persist, affecting the overall effectiveness of healthcare administration. This study explores key factors influencing the state management of healthcare financing in public hospitals in Northern Vietnam, focusing on their implications for operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. The findings aim to inform actionable policy recommendations for enhancing healthcare quality and sustainability.
